My name is Robert Keller. I am a research professor for Information Management & Digitalization at the Faculty of Tourism-Management at the Kempten University of Applied Sciences and co-director of the Institute for Sustainable and Innovative Tourism (INIT). In my leisure time, I am interested in astrophysics, RTS gaming, and soccer.

Research
My scientific interest grounds in interdisciplinary research on Applied Analytics and Behavioral Analytics in Tourism. Prior to this work, I did research in Energy Informatics. You can find my publications at Google Scholar. I’ve been asked to edit and review for several renowned journals, conferences, and funding programs.
Furthermore, I am supervisor and external reviewer of several doctoral theses. Former PhD Students: Dr. Felix Baumgarte, Dr. Jessica Bollenbach, Dr. Felix Röhrich, and Dr. Patrick Rövekamp.
Funding & Projects
Besides my role as research professor for digitalization & information management at the University of Applied Sciences Kempten, I am co-director of the Institute for Sustainable and Innovative Tourism (INIT). We work in applied research projects and provide studies related to digitalization and sustainability in tourism.

Knowledge transfer
Besides teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Kempten, passing on my knowledge to the general public is part of my job as a professor. I have already been invited on television (e.g. AllgäuTV, ARD Morgenmagazin, BR Abendschau, ZDF Aspekte), on the radio (e.g. HR Info, BR24, Bayern 3), in the news (e.g. Allgäuer Zeitung, Augsburger Allgemeine, FAZ, Merkur), and at various conferences and events as a speaker.
